For over a century, the leaders of the Jehovah's Witness religion have cultivated a public image of a peaceful, loving religious community, obscuring their high-control tactics and the trauma they inflict on current and former members.
From door-knocking to street-corner witnessing, Jehovah's Witnesses actively promote their presence in our communities, but the voices of those they've harmed are too often silenced by fear, isolation, and the lifelong impact of shunning.
They count on our silence, because our voices are a powerful force for change. By sharing our stories, we can expose the truth about “the truth”, turn the tide of public opinion, help awaken those still trapped, and create a world where no one else suffers in silence.
